Miller Motorsports Park is very pleased to announce that it has reached a multi-year agreement to host the FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP beginning in 2008.
It has been three years since the FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP raced in America, and having the series at Miller Motorsports Park will represent the most significant racing event in the history of the State of Utah. The race will be part of the Honda Summit of Speed, scheduled for June 1, 2008.
“We are thrilled to bring the FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP to Miller Motorsports Park,” said track owner Larry H. Miller. “This will be the biggest international sporting event in this state since the Olympic Winter Games in 2002. We look forward to welcoming the international motorcycle racing community to Utah, as well as thousands of new fans from across the United States and the world, who will be visiting Utah and our facility for the first time.”

THREE BIG DATES with APEXtrackdays!
Friends of APEX, please put the following three (3) BIG dates on your calendar:
September 2-3, 2007 (Our BIG Labor Day double header): We are running the East track on Sunday and the FULL COURSE on Labor Day. Don’t miss out on the last opportunity this year to ride the full course!
October 7, 2007 (Customer Appreciation Day): MMP was kind enough to give us one last trackday this year on the East track, and we are going to offer it at the special price of $155 to any person who has already registered for a trackday with us. This is our way of saying THANK YOU to all of you for helping us have another great year at MMP. The day will consist of 3 groups (A, B, & C) with twenty (20) minutes sessions each, with a free BBQ at the end of the day to say thanks. (Subject to track space and proven ability to play nice with others, we will try to honor requests to run in additional groups in the afternoon if anyone feels they just aren’t getting enough track time with 20 minute sessions.)
May 29-June 2, 2008 (AMA, World Superbike, & APEX): MMP has significantly upped the ante in 2008 by hosting the United States World Superbike round along with the AMA Superbike races. APEX will be running a trackday on the FULL COURSE at the end of the event and will be offering discounted ticket packages. Plan your vacation time now so you can attend the most exciting race weekend in the United States in 2008, and cap it off with a trackday on the same track where you just watched some of the best riders in the world compete.
NEW RIDER MONEY BACK GAURANTY: If you haven’t been to an APEX trackday before, please come out and try it. If you aren’t having the time of your life after the end of the second session, come and see us and we will give any disappointed new rider a full refund. We are that confident you won’t want to leave after only two sessions because riding with APEX really is that fun!!!

IdahoSportBikes.com goes live today! It's not complete but content will start to fill in. What does that mean to you? It means the Sportbike community has a voice in Idaho now. Why is IdahoSportBikes.com here you might be wondering? What are we going to do? What is our plan?
We are here to do a few things, the biggest or main goal of IdahoSportBikes.com, is to bring a track to Idaho! We are going to be offering track days for out of state tracks to raise awareness and educate Idaho riders about this sport. This will help attract more non-riders and current street riders alike to track riding and racing. IdahoSportBikes.com is a small part of our main goal. We will do the leg work but its you, the sportbike rider, who will make it possible to get the attention Idaho needs to bring motorsports like road racing here. So how can you do that? Promote & Support IdahoSportBikes.com! The more riders from Idaho that go to track days through IdahoSportBikes.com the better our proposal will look to potential investors. The more local shops are involved, the more riders are involved, the more media we attract, the better Idaho's chances are of getting a track. This will benefit not only sportbikes, but also road racing like, cars, karts, & supermoto. |
