Road Racing
In this section you will find the various race organizations, schedules, how to get started in road racing, photos and more useful information. Check out the rule book for any organization you are interested in for classes and bike specific requirements.
There are several race organizations out there, however we are focusing on the various race organizations that hold events in the states surrounding Idaho. If you are a track day addict, you should take it to the next level and start racing with one of these clubs, or come out and work at the track on race weekends, or simply spectate and support your local racers. Working race weekends is a good way to earn free and/or reduced track time, and these races couldn't happen without the local volunteer help. It is also a good way to see if racing is for you.
Drag Racing
In this section you will find the various race organizations, schedules, how to get started in drag racing, photos and more useful information. Check out the rule book for any organization you are interested in for classes and bike specific requirements.
The start of every road race is a drag race. While drag racing doesn't compare to entering turn one four bikes wide battling for the race line and the lead position, it's still an exciting form of racing. Drag racing is significantly cheaper then road racing, but both will make you a more skilled rider. Being consistent is the key in bracket racing, and well that takes plenty of seat time.
Track Days
In this section you will find everything you need for track days whether it will be your first track day, or if you are a seasoned track day rider.
Track days are the best way to improve your skills while doing so in a controlled environment. Most track day providers offer instructors to help make you a more skilled rider. However if you really want to learn more control you should consider taking a riding school - see the riding school section. Then use your track day to practice what you learned in the riding school. Once you do a track day you will quickly become addicted.
Riding Schools
In this section you will find the various riding schools, along with their schedules.
We will divide these into three types of schools, racing schools, riding schools, and basic riding schools. Race schools will focus more on the competitive aspects of riding. Riding schools will focus on basic handling, body position, lines, and throttle control. Most riding schools will fall into this category. These schools are targeted at the occasional track day rider and street rider. Basic riding schools focus on basic riding skills for the street, and some will even give you insurance discounts upon successful completion.
