:: Required Gear For Track Days ::
The following items are required to get on the track. If you have textile gear, you will need to check with the track day provider
to make sure it is acceptable. All tracks and track day providers recommend leather as it is proven to protect you better in the
event of a crash.
- Helmet: full face, DOT/SNELL approved helmet with a chin strap.
- Gloves: leather gauntlet style gloves that extend past the wrist, and have a wrist strap.
- Boots: leather boots that extend past the ankle.
- Jacket & Pants: A one piece leather suit with CE approved armor is recommended. However a leather jacket and pants that zip together with a minimum ¾ zipper that zips around the waist are acceptable. Some textile jacket and pants are accepted but these will vary with the different track day providers. Please check their web site for specific requirements.
- Back Protector: A back protector is optional, however it is recommended that you always wear one while on the track.
