Almost all track day providers offer some type of new rider orientation. Most new riders are anxious yet nervous about getting on the track for the first time. The goal of this class is to bring you up to speed on flags, track etiquette, pit in, pit out, how to properly enter and exit the track, signaling, and normally they offer a sighting lap so you can see the track at a slow speed.
Don't forget to take advantage of the instructors and control riders while you are at the track. They can help you with lines, body position, and give you great advice to help improve your current skills. While they can't attend to only you, they are available to help you out. If you would like personal instruction then check out the riding schools listed here.
